Eleni Bitsiou is a Mining and Metallurgical Engineer at the National Technical University of Athens with a Master’s Degree in Economics from Birkbeck University, London.

She has also attended the “More Effective Management” programs at City University of London and “Creative Accounting” at London School of Economics.

In London and in particular at Sigma International S.A. she worked for the first time in the field of Logistics, in particular in shipping spare parts management. She then worked as an engineer at Marmara Dionysos SA.

However, she soon changed occupation as Logistics won her over. She worked at KOMVOS SA (3PL) from 1993 to 2001, being in charge of the Business Development, while at the same time having experience in all areas related to the supply chain. From 2001 to 2006 and due to market needs given the Athens Olympics of 2004, she returned to the Industrial sector but to the Commercial Management of Fulgor Hellenic Electric Cable S.A.

She continued her career at SYNERGY SA, where she has been working as a Commercial Director since 2007, and also holds the position of Vice President of the Board of Directors. She is also the Head of Corporate Social Responsibility team for the Sustainable Development of the Company.
