Panagiotis Manaras studied Mechanical Engineering, but soon realized that the field of computer science would be his next educational step. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computing Science from Staffordshire University, studies in Project Management and is certified in ITIL.

At the beginning of his career, he worked as a teacher in programming languages for various technical schools, training students of a wide range of ages.

This mostly helped him to develop ways of communication and understanding the peculiarities that this field faces.

He has experience in the field of computer science in large companies such as PYRKA, INTRACOM, and COSMOTE. His experience in public law companies as well as companies with a large number of employees and increased requirements in implementing large-scale projects, helped him to evolve the way of managing complex requests, to act proactively, and to understand the needs in such a way that he can efficiently transform them into information systems.

In 2010 he joined the Logistics sector as an IT Manager at DIADIKTIKI SA and in 2019 undertook the IT Department of SEAGULL SA Group of companies as an IT Director.

Recently he joined SYNERGY SA as Chief Information Officer, enhancing the company’s goal of developing new technologies and systems that will further improve internal operations and customers’ “digital” experience.
