Job Description:
As an Account Manager, you’ll be at the forefront of our client-centric approach, managing key accounts and ensuring their logistics needs are met efficiently and effectively. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Client Relationship Management:
- Cultivate strong and lasting relationships with our clients, becoming their trusted advisor.
- Act as the main point of contact, understanding their unique logistics requirements.
2. Account Growth:
- Identify opportunities to expand services and increase revenue within existing accounts.
- Collaborate with our sales and operations teams to meet and exceed targets.
3. Operational Excellence:
- Ensure seamless logistics operations for your accounts, from order placement to final delivery.
- Resolve any logistical challenges or issues promptly and decisively.
4. Strategic Planning:
- Develop account-specific logistics strategies to optimize supply chain efficiency.
- Work cross-functionally to implement these strategies and achieve client goals.
5. Data Analysis:
- Monitor account performance and provide regular reports and insights to clients.
- Analyze logistics data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Qualifications:
To excel in this role, you should have:
- Proven experience as an Account Manager in the logistics industry.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- A passion for logistics and problem-solving.
- Demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding sales and operational targets.
- Knowledge of logistics software and tools (e.g., WMS, B.I. e.t.c.).
